First off, the wifi speed inside my house is 300 mbps and everything is obviously on the same network.

Server PC is a Dell Inspiron I7, 16 gb ram, 512 gb ssd running Windows 10 home.
Server software is the *companion* software to the IOS app ‘Chrome Remote Desktop’ from the App Store.

I was able to load and run John Tiller’s Campaign Series Middle East on my 2018 12.9 IPP using the IOS app ‘Chrome Remote Desktop’. There were two input modes; touch and trackpad. The Dell is touch enabled and using touch mode on the remote software - things just got weird (can’t explain it). Switching the input control mode on the IOS program to trackpad/touchpad and all of a sudden things just worked.

Running Outlook, Edge browser, file management and MS Word all worked without a hitch.

I’m also able to play mkv videos from the PC, but no sound (so far?).

Thought people might be interested since this is free on the App Store and, well some people need Windows access.

What are the advantages to using Chrome Remote Desktop vs. the built-in Remote Desktop functionality in Windows 10 with the Microsoft Remote Desktop iOS app (which is also free)?

The RDP Server functionality is not enabled in Windows 10 Home. You need W10 Pro for this at least....

Thanks for the clarification! I only use W10 Pro and W10 Education so I didn’t know it wasn’t enabled in all versions. RDP is critical for me and I use it daily from my iPad Pro, so now I know to stay away from W10 Home in the future.
