Noob here,

I'm trying to use Cyberduck (CD) to transfer my pre-jailbroken apps onto my newly JB iPhone. Problem is when Im in CD, after clicking the forward "/" from the drop menu, then clicking the applications arrow, I see that all of the apps are in a folder format. After finding my apps on my HD, ("user name", music, iTunes, mobile apps) I tried to drag and drop them into CD directly over the app folder hoping by some stroke of luck it would be that simple. Of course it wasn't. :)

My question is, Has anyone ever used CyberDuck to transfer purchased apps onto their newly jailbroken iPhone? If so, how so?

Thanks for the time... cheers

Jailbreak apps should only ever we wiped when you do a full restore in iTunes.

cool. everything is working correctly as it should be! My "old" apps and my new jailbroken apps are all together on my iPhone. :D

Thanks for the advice

ssh cyberduck login failure

I was able to ssh into my 3gs iphone with cyberduck before, but now I am getting username/password error and "login failed."

I'm not sure if I inadvertently changed my username/pw somehow.
I'm on an intel imac now. any way to find or change my user/pw?

any help would be appreciated.

thank you.

Perhaps you changed your password when you jailbroke your iPhone with 3.1.2? I had the same problem until I realized that I had changed my password. Username was still root but the password was something I had created.
