Hey, this subject matter has been bugging me so I thought I'd bring it up. I just got a 64 gb iPad 2 and was planning on filling up this sucker until there really isn't any more room. (i've got it planned out)Anyway, I was wondering if I plug it straight into my iMac, will it sync faster than if I plug it into my wired keyboard+numeric keypad? Thanks.

Ok thanks. I wasn't sure if plugging the ipad into a usb port which is plugged into the another usb port would cause the syncing speed to decrease.. Thanks anyway.

I believe the ports are USB2, but note that they don't have anywhere near enough power to be able to charge the iPad (in a reasonable time) - you'll need to plug it into the machine directly for that.
