Using Google Authenticator on Apple TV

I have a problem logging onto YouTube on my Apple TV. I can still get videos without logging in. The problem is I have a private channel and need to see the picture quality from some of my Videos before I put them on the TV station. I can login to YouTube just fine from my Computer. Is there a way to resolve this?

How do you setup AirPlay? I have a MAC Computer, iPad 1 and an iPhone 4S. I thought you had to pay to have music and Videos on the cloud.

Are you using your YouTube id or your main Google/Gmail id? My YouTube id stopped working on ATV a while back when Google changed YouTube so you could use your Gmail id to log in. On ATV now I log into YouTube using my Gmail id, which does work.

AirPlay has nothing to do with "the Cloud". It allows you to play music or video from your iDevice over WiFi to players that support AirPlay. Apple TV supports Airplay audo and video.

I'd use the 4S for this.

Generate an application specific password and use that with your GMail ID on the Apple TV:

You don't need to use your password plus authenticator code with apps like these.

you use an application specific password, which was clearly explained when you signed up for 2 step verification.
