Using Groups to send sms messages

hey im sure this has probably been asked a million times but i couldn't get the search function to search for particular keywords..anyways: how can i use contact groups to send mass text messages? is it possible?

i think apple needs to overhaul their sms app..lol

1. open the sms app
2. on the top right corner click the icon
3. then type in the name of a person.
4. repeat 3 for as many ppl as you want.

tho if your asking if you can have groups like for example family. then choose the "family" group and send it like that. then the answer is no.

i totally agree i would like more features out of sms. like forwarding. and cut and paste. I dont know how many times my phone forgets the password to my wfi and i end up having to put in a 128 bit password again. would be nice when my roomate sends me the password to be able to just cut and past it instead of writing it down.

yeah i was actually asking about the latter.

apple needs to get their **** straight on sms...its probably my most used app.
