Using HDMI and Thunderbolt Video Out Simultaneously

I am exploring using a the newest Mac Mini for a projection setup where I work. I would need one output for a local monitor and a second output for a projector. I need each output to be different.

My thought is to use an HDMI->DVI adapter for my local monitor and a Mini-DisplayPort->VGA adapter for projection. Can it be configured this way so each output has a different signal?

Yes, the two video outputs on the mini can act as separate displays.
