HomePod Using HomePod Mini as speaker for Ipad stops video

Hi all,

I have a new HomePod mini and was interested in using it as a speaker for my Ipad when watching videos. When I switched the audio output via Airplay to my Homepod, the video on the screen pauses. The audio continues but I can't get the video to play. How can I fix this?

I haven't encountered this issue. Does this happen for all apps (YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, etc.) or just a certain one?

Hey thanks. Turns out it's the specific TV viewing app (Rogers Ignite) that I was trying to use. Everything else seems to work just fine.
