I wana activate, jailbreak and unlock 8gb iphone using iLiberty+.

is iLiberty+ a better option over ziphone?

1. I dunno what firmware version it is. So how do u restore/update to 1.1.4 ?

2. Then using iLiberty+ what all options should i select in the standards tab? Should I have a simcard inserted at this step?

3. What all payloads should i put under the selected payloads tab? I have heard the payload regarding fonts and tunes has some problems and should not be used.

4. After clicking the button, will everything work? or should i go ahead and install bsd and ssh?

5. anything else that I would need to do?

Thanks

Yes, it is better.

1) Just plug in your iphone and let Liberty+ do it.

2) if you have AT&T just use the jailbreak method. If you don't, you should leave the sim card in the iphone that it comes with, choose the option that does them all (activate / jailbreak)

3. ?

4. you should install those regardless

Thanks for your reply.

I was wondering, what all payloads should i select?

and how do I install bsd and ssh?

Thanks
