Hey MacRumors,

I was looking to add vertical screen real estate to an iMac. I tried looking for an ultra narrow display to mount under the iMac for Final Cut Pro timeline use. It turned out to not be a great idea.

 
Wouldn't you be better off using a VESA mount on your LG display and putting it above the iMac?
I've always preferred having my monitors just next to each other instead though.

That would be useful! With the Final Cut Pro timeline it would be easier if it were below the main work area. Optimally I would put all of the desktop icons, etc on the lower display and the lower display would be even thinner.
