Hi-

I'm thinking about upgrading my core duo macbook to one of the new SR ones, and have kind of a strange question.....

i upgraded the harddrive in my current model myself, and since I have about 50 gig or so of samples and apps (I use it for my home studio) I'd like to just switch my current harddrive over to the new machine (it has all the same specs as the drive in the mid config).

here's my question: can I use the install disc that would come with the new computer to upgrade to leopard with out having to do a fresh install?
this would save me hours of time and make life alot easier.....
anyone tried this or have any ideas?
Thanks.
