Well,

as I venture into this experimental phase, I'm wondering if I can live without the usual MBP. I use Apple Remote Desktop for lots of tasks. Consider the typical client environment to be 1-3 MacOS servers and 20-40 Macs.

Is there an ARD equivalent for iOS? Server management app equivalent? I figure somebody around here must have tried it.

All feedback welcome.

There are screen sharing apps, but none offer the extra functionality that ARD does. There is a server admin app which used to be somewhat functional but is really not of any use at this point:
I could not imagine trying to manage Macs exclusively on an iPad.

I've done it through SSH using a mini as a headless server and my iPad to manage it. But I don't think you'll find a screen sharing experience that won't drive you nuts simply because of the input differences between macOS and iPadOS.
