Using iPad's virtual Keyboard on the iMac

is there anyway to use iPad's virtual keyboard on the imac for typing? Perhaps via Bluetooth?

I am not sure about the VNC viewer. What I want is to use the ipad's virtual keyboard in place of the wireless keyboard on the imac to type and use Microsoft Word.
