Hi, I just want to throw this at you, can you guys tell me if this will work?

My family and I are switching to ATT this Friday with the launch of the 3Gs. We plan to have 3 people on the plan, one person, me, will have the 3Gs with the data plan and all that. The other 2 will be free phones, anything basic with no data plan, no nothing. I will specifically tell ATT to block ANY AND ALL data from those 2 phones. (or sims? idk)

Now I own an unlocked iPhone 2G currently on T-Mobile. If on Friday once I get ATT, if I restore that 2G phone in iTunes 8.2 to OS 3.0, and then put the sim from one of those 2 free phones, will it work? Will ATT somehow find out and charge me? I DO NOT want a data plan for it, simply wifi is good enough. If I accidentally open Safari while not on Wi-Fi will I get charged?

Anything else I should know about doing this? Basically am I better off unlocking/jailbreaking it? Or do I not have to go though the trouble?

Thanks!!
