Hi all,

I am in the UK & have just seen the spec. for the new iPhone (O2, £45 a month including unlimited web browsing on 3G & Wi-Fi).......

my question is, can I use the iPhone as an internet connection for my MacBook for use in the the Uk & Europe & if used in Europe what would the cost likely be (I use Skype a lot when abroad)?

Sorry if it's a daft question!!

Thanks in advance, Nik ;)

The answer to your question is no, you can't with an iPhone.

You should know that the term for this is "tethered" or "tethering your phone to your computer." Something along those lines.

I metion this because there are many threads about this, but obviously you can't search for something if you don't know what word to use!

Hopefully that will help you find some of those threads. You might find them interesting.
