Hey everyone.
I live in Canada (eh?), and will be heading to the US for March Break. Rogers in Canada recently released some new data plans for the US. One of these plans is 1GB of data for $40.
I plan on adding the 1GB/$40 plan for when I go to the US, and when I get back to Canada, I will simply remove it from my plan.
Would 1GB of data be enough for 5-6 days of using 3G from around roughly 9 am when we leave the hotel until evening when we arrive at our next hotel, by roughly 8-9 pm. (Sightseeing/driving from place to place in that time period). Repeat this process for each day.
I will be using google maps, but only if my dad needs help with directions.
Checking twitter, facebook, email a little, instant messaging, apps that use data, basically things that I do every day. No music streaming, little to no youtube. (Youtube quality on 3G is kinda sucky)
I'm thinking of reseting my data tracker under settings and using only 3G for a week and see what my usage is.
So would 1GB of data be enough? Opinions?
Thanks!
