hi..

jus pwned my phone; wondering is there any sort of app to allow me to make & receive calls thru my iphone [via wifi or usb] but using my macbook to answer and dial, so its handsfree, like chatting on skype, using built in mic and speakers? i know there is an app called bluephone elite which works for most other phones via bluetooth, but it doesnt seem to support iphone .. thanks.

Yeah BluePhone works awesome, I bought that app and used it for a couple years with my motorola's... seriously this was the sweetest thing ever. I got my iphone to realize that apple has no support for anything to work thru bluetooth other than the basics of headsets.

I would say that "no one knows how to do this?" answered with "not on the iphone, for the reason explained above" means no, and I'm not trying to be sarcastic, just give you a definitive answer.

Maybe I'm missing something, but their website claims that it has iPhone support for acting as a bluetooth headset:
