using macbook as external/additional monitor to my iMac

Im new on here so hello.

I have a fairly new 27'' iMac and a fairly new macbook. I want to use the macbook as an additional to the Imac for when im woring at my desk.

Ive got hold of a mini display cable which plugs into both and have managed to set it up so the Imac is used as the external monitor running off the macbook but i wanted it to be the other way round.

Is this possible??

Only the 27" iMac can be used as an external display via Mini DisplayPort.
Maybe have a look at ScreenRecycler.

theres Airdisplay too, which i hear is quite good
