hi since upgrading to iOS17.1 (iPhone12Pro), when attaching to using a magsafe charger (or mount) the vol on my iPhone drops low//fades lower like someone is touching the vol control.

Can I stop this from happening? I see no setting in Sounds, Accessibility, or Standby.
thanks for any help

thanks, (obviously) been there. I couldnt adjust the vol, the buttons and screen weren't reacting. (BTW only happens in 'standby' (landscape) mode.)

If I tried to raise the vol with the button nothing happens,
I pull it off the MagSafe mount while playing audio nothing happened with the vol controls.
If I quit the app (both TuneIn or Safari) I regained button control.
Now reset vol, put back on magsafe mount... and vol slowly fades again to that lower vol.

Did a hard reset and the issue has resolved itself. ...if that was a 'feature', I can't understand its use-case.

Sorry then. I’m out of ideas. From experience, it seems that the phone remembers specific audio configurations and the relative volume of apps. Being on a charger seems like one that would be remembered.

Back to your original post, you didn’t mention which volume is low.
Music? Siri? Alerts? Ringtones?

Do you have this setting turned on or off?
