Using Maverick on upgraded mac mini

I have the first intel mac mini which is early 2006 model. I have upgraded the processor to 2.0 GHZ Core 2 Due. I have 2gb ram and 500 gb hard disk. I am currently using Snow Leopard as the operating system. Can I upgrade this machine to Maverick? Can I make a separate partition with Maverick O/S? Will this latest operating system run on my machine?
