Using Firefox (and I think Safari though I've not used safari for honks).
Both those have 'Reader' mode which cuts out all the fluff on a web page (pics and ads), increases the text size and makes reading enjoyable..even on an iPad mini.
I find it useful for making online computing instruction easier to read while conducting the instructions on a desktop, etc.
.. So it's still a useful tool if you have an old iPad unused somewhere.
I think Firefox and perhaps safari are the only browsers providing this ability but let me know if there's others.
I tend to use the old version browser that works best for each of my regular visited web site. Just recently finding opera works better on one such site than Firefox..not so much lag.
