I use needs to use Adobe Indesign at work and home and its one app the they haven't made a 64bit version of in CS6.

I don't want to start a subscription as the programme works fine - is there an alternative using a virtual machine when Catalina comes in?

I was having the same thought. I have a bunch of 32-bit only applications that are never going to be re-written for 64-bit as the developers have moved on to other things. This morning I created a Mojave VM with VirtualBox (64-bit) that seems to run just fine and runs 32-bit applications as expected. Now I'm just hoping that Catalina is only 64-bit because they've dropped support for 32-bit versions of system libraries, which should mean the Mojave VM works fine, rather than because they've somehow locked a configuration bit in the CPU to only allow 64-bit instructions.

Would be great to hear from someone who's run a Mojave VM on catalina.

I am having issues with getting a full install of macOS Mojave in order to run my 32but Apps in a virtual machine using Parallels. Appstore would not let me download it because it thinks I am already up to dat with the latest OS.
Any pointers will be appreciated.

If running Catalina use the Terminal command:

softwareupdate --fetch-full-installer --full-installer-version 10.14.6
