Using photos in other apps???

It would be great if ios let you open pictures (in photos) in other apps ....

You can.

Here's a few apps on my phone that let me open any photo I have:

Dropbox
Instagram
Diptic
Photogene
Tweetbot
Facebook

And that's just on my homescreen.

Sorry, I may not have been clear ... I want to be able to go to the PHOTOS app, see all my albums, pick a photo and think, "aaah, this would be good to open in ...." and do it that way. You can't do it (or at least I haven't seen it) from the actual photos "app" ? Can you?

No, you can't get a list of apps to come up, but you can copy/paste if you're in that situation. That's pretty close.
