? Using Photostream

When you watch the commercial about photo stream on Tv. It shows someone taking a photo on the camera and it instantly appears on the iPad/apple tv. This is not working for me, I will take pictures when I'm traveling to show my wife and kids and sometime it take hours to days for the picture to appear. Why is this? My current photo stream has 350 pictures, we have two iPhone's, Two 4th gen iPod touches, one new iPad and apple tv under one account. Any thoughts? THank you

Photostream only works over Wifi, so is that maybe what you're experiencing? There isn't a toggle to make it work over 3G as far as I know.

Same thing here. The photostream content is not as shown on the commercials. Personally have only had a few pics show up to date.

Two things I have noticed with Photostream. It only works when you are on Wifi and your battery must be over 20%. Strange that the battery thing doesn't seem to be documented anywhere but in my experience it is true.

I have never had them pop up instantly, even on Wifi. However, when being out and taking pics on my iphone, when I have gotten back on Wifi they do automatically show up on my ipad, usually after 5-10 minutes or so.
