Using pmset to set graphics while on batter and charging not working in BigSur

Hi,

I have been using pmset -b gpuswitch 2 ; pmset -c gpuswitch 1 to run on integrated on battery and discreet while charging but running this commands in BigSur doesn't seem to have any effect on switching the graphics. Though there is a automatic graphics switching available that doesn't seem to work as desired ( it switched to discreet when I opened an GPU demanding application and it stayed that way after closing the application) which is causing battery drains. Any insights on achieving this will be much appreciated.

I think you are using the wrong codes. Here is what I use and it works on BS

pmset -b gpuswitch 0 # use integrated GPU only on battery
pmset -c gpuswitch 2 # use automatic switching on charger
