Using SD camera kit for Storage Possibel?

Hi, a dealbreaker for me in the ipad is the price/storage. Otherwise it looks amazing for my trips, i'll probably get the 16gb version but i was wondering about this......SD storage using the camera kit...

for instance, you buy a few cheap 32GB SD cards and a $30 Camera connection kit . Will this be possibel? by standard or with a 3rd party App, or will we need to jaibreak the thing?

there is an app called zoomit that allows this, definitely with their own card reader, waiting for someone to try the apple connection kit with this app.

secondly when the ipad jailbreak is released, i'm crossing my fingers that sd cards can be mounted as a volume. this seems likely to work.
