Using second monitor with imac

I'm trying to use an LCD TV as a second monitor. Trouble is when I full screen command QuickTime on the TV, the resize takes place on the imac screen. I can fit to screen command on the TV but then I have to look at the QT app borders, etc. Any way to toggle primary/ secondary monitor order?

I believe its under QuickTime Prefrences. There you can tell which monitor you want it to fullscreen on.
