Has anybody else noticed the feature where you can grab a document on the desktop, drag it to another app's dock icon, hit spacebar and get access to that application to drop it is no longer working on 10.12.anything?

To test - drag a picture into your Messages.app icon on the dock while Messages is in the background and it no longer brings Messages to the foreground.

Thoughts?

What does the Spacebar do - it has never been a thing to press the Spacebar upon drag and drop onto the Dock icon!? Enlighten me.

Works here with Messages in the background and it brings Messages forward and prompts me to enter a recipient.

For mail it spread the open windows out and let you choose which one.

Apparently this is a known bug Apple is tracking.
