I am hoping some one knows how to access the repair/restore and boot manager using Mac Terminal rather than using the standard keyboard commands.

if there is a recovery partion, you can go with cmd+r to boot into without bootscreen
and yes it takes some time and on some cMPs is nessesary to press the return button after 2 minutes
