I would like to be able to control up to 5 or 6 ipads for presentation purposes.

Here's how I thought it might work -

Using the Air Display app, I would connect all the ipads to my MBP, open keynote & the symphony of sight & sound would magically begin.

But.... that didn't happen :)

I get a message in Keynote indicating that I may not have enough vram & the presentation is over before it ever began. Turns out, the creators of Air Display know about the issue and may fix it sometime in the future. The other major flaw is that the app does not support multiple ipads (at least I dont think it does).

Is it possible to make my scenario work somehow? I'd love to be able to pass out a stack of ipads to a group & have them follow along with a personal screen in front of them!

A video streaming app would work, but your presentation would have to be rendered as a video and played. Not all the ipads would be in perfect sync, however, and there's nothing to stop one of your viewers from quitting the video - accidentally or on purpose.

I understand exactly what you want to do, but I don't think there's a good way to do it yet.

Edit: what about GoToMeeting for the iPad? That might do it for you...
