Has anyone used Airpods Pro on the iPad Pro 11" and with a Third Party Equalizer ? Does it work well ? Do the Third Part Equalizer APP do the Job on the Airpods Pro ? How is the experience ?

I've tried a few different ones and they work great, really shows what the APP can do!

Unfortunately no 3rd party EQ app works with Apple Music due to DRM.

I am from the Spotify CAMP anyways !! So which are the Equalizer APP that you have been using which work great with the Airpods Pro ?

I'm on a call at the mo so can't check, but off the top of my head my fave one is EQ Player Plus.

Go into equaliser and choose Smart then Range. Whack the Extreme Low, Low, 80-90 Extreme High and High, halfish mid and zero 3D.
The APP kick out the bass amazingly.

Interested seeing this. Do you have a link to which App works best with APP? They seem pretty pricy as a yearly subscription?

EQ Player Plus?

But how does this Equalizer APP figure out that it has to make changes to the Airpods and not the APP playing Music ? How does it do that ?

EQ Player Plus is free, you can buy the developer a coffee if you wish to. (Voluntary payment).

I presume it plays the music through the EQ app and not the stock Music app. Hence not playing DRM music.

And you are saying it does not support Apple Music but does support Spotify ?

OP; I’m assuming you already tried the built-in EQ settings and manual graph inside the Spotify app? If so, did you find it lacking?

That is with Spotify APP But right ? i am told and have been made to understand that you can make your Airpods Pro sound even more Bassy than what it comes right out of the box if you use a good third party Equalizer APP hence the curiosity. I know I can change the Music Playing APP Equalizer but that is not what we are talking about !!

I only asked because I’ve had decent results bumping up the low end using the basic EQ in the Spotify app (under playback - EQ) for my gen 1 AirPods.

I've tried a few 3rd party EQ apps in the past but nothing blew me away.

Still waiting for my APP to arrive. Will watch this thread for any recommendations.

I just got in touch with the developer of this app via email and he told me that there is no such app which will directly change music through equaliser for your Airpods Pro what his app EQ Equalizer plus doed is change music through equaliser in the music playing app so it is an Equalizer for the music playing app and not for the AirPods per say.
