I just read this article

Which states that BMW Wireless charging may damage your iPhone 15. Looking into this situation, is it safe to use third party cases having MegSafe capability for iPhone 15 Pro Max?

A wireless charger and a case are very different items. As long as you don’t use the third party case in a BMW, you have nothing to worry about.

However, I would avoid any third party case labeled “MegSafe” and look for MagSafe cases instead.

How do you differentiate? For iPhone 15 Pro Max, apple has provided very limited options.

MagSafe is just a ring of strong magnets to attach accessories. A case cannot damage the iPhone. But wireless charging can kill an iPhone through excess heat or frequencies.
