Using THREE simcard on iPhone ?

Can I use a THREE Network simcard in my iPhone. ?

I have put the THREE simcard in a Nokia 6300 (non 3G phone) It worked.

So I am wondering if the 3G card will work in any form.

Most people say it dose not work.....

it wont work at all 3 sims use a different type of sim and since the iphone i not 3g compatible they would not build in support for sim that is soley for a 3g network
