Hi all,

I was wondering what the best method is to be able to use a Verizon iPhone 6+ on T-Mobile? We're currently paying off our phones under the device monthly payment agreement on Verizon, however have recently moved and noticed the coverage isn't as good, but did notice that T-Mobile gets better coverage here (with the exception of buildings), so didn't know if there was a way to easily get a SIM card from somewhere, or a setting to be able to switch between networks? I saw that the Verizon ones are already unlocked, but was just looking for advice. Thanks so much!!

You should be able to get a SIM card from T-Mobile (it might require you signing up for some plan) and simply put it into your phone and it would just work.

Got it, I didn't know if it was something where you pick up a T-Mobile SIM, insert it, and then it would just pick up T-Mobile towers, but still pay Verizon (vs. signing up for T-Mobile plan). We had done a T-Mobile Test Drive on the 5s, and on that one there was an option to select different networks, but wasn't sure if that was because it was like their version of a prepaid, or if it was GSM, or just what.

That's correct. T-Mobile will charge $10.00 for the SIM card and port your number from Verizon. A plan of some sort will be required but generally their plans are modestly priced.
