Using WebCam

I am new to mac and still playing the new OS, always been a windows user. I was wondering how to use the in built webcam without using the chat. Can i use it?

yahoo im works as well as photobooth (built in app). ichat works too

Thanks man. Is there a guide or something where i can read more about mac OS and some cool stuff i can do here that one cannot do in windows?

I believe it was already mentioned but you're looking for Photobooth. Its the built-in image capture app.
