My experience was as follows: in the same day I charged my X with the normal wall plug and later for a few minutes on the wireless Mophie pad.

Then the percentage meter was way off, either way more or less than it should have been. I went onto Apple and was told by someone there not to use both types in the same charging cycle and then was told by many others that was nonsense that it was no problem using both types.

Anybody have issues along this line?

Charge your battery to 100% and use it as you normally would. That is the bottom line.

I have read several of your posts and I think you are getting lost in the minutia forest of Apple.
AS to the selling my phone posts, yes I can see why you would say that, I have settled that one.

But the phone showing usage and standby the same for no reason repeatedly is still an issue every week or two.

And i returned a wireless charger for the reason mentioned in this thread but have now bought a new one.

I thought about waiting for Apple's but it will be pricey and who knows when.

The wireless Mophie charger is a good charger. You shouldn't have any problems with it.
That was the one I had with the issue, now I am trying the Belkin.

As to your first comment about 100% :) there is an expert on Apple saying that is not the way to optimum battery life. to never let it drain to zero, to have it between 40 and 80% most of the time and to NOT charge it to 100% all the time.

So...oh well, I actually have, well we all have truth be told, MUCH bigger problems right now than phone batteries so I am gonna stop stressing on it, thanks.

So last night I charge with wireless and take it off when it hits 100%, so on the charger for a total of 2 hours maybe, and today I am getting HALF the battery life I normally get.

Today I charged it with wired and at 90% the usage standby counters reset, which it is NOt supposed to do until it hits 100% so this wireles charger has messed me up big time.

If i wont go back to normal wired charging then I guess I need a new battery.

BTW when it is wireless charged it gets about half the life of use than normal, real bad
