i have never used diskutil verifyDisk or verifyVolume , because i have read it could be dangerous and destructive

may i ask 2 questions ?

can i know the differences between disk utility first aid and diskutil verifyDisk or verifyVolume ?

i have watched this video but the author doesn't explain the differences between them just warns about repair

and may i know the syntax to verify a volume and not a disk
in my casa my ssd is /dev/disk0
but how about the volume , i should have 2 volume high sierra and the recovery hd
