Other Utilizing gift card for Apple Card monthly payments.

I am using the “get ready for pre order” through the Apple Store app.

The app states I need to pre authorize the credit card.

I have $250 of gift cards that I would like to use for this purchase. I also have a trade in.

The trade in price is reflected, but how can I use the gift cards? Don’t see an option anywhere.

Oh sorry. I am trying to use my Apple Card for monthly payments as well.
