Language learners and teachers may be interested in my new app "Utter French!" launched today. The app is designed to assist students with learning the pronunciation of basic vocabulary, as required for GCSE or similar basic to intermediate courses:

http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/utter-french!/id538445336?ls=1&mt=8

The app features studio recordings of a native French speaker pronouncing over 1,200 items of basic vocabulary. Vocab items can be searched for by English or French word and are organised into 20+ topics.

The app is also designed to complement the previously released "French Vocab Games" app, which features a number of activities for testing the student's knowledge of this vocabulary.

Completely revamped, the app now features a new, modern look and extended information and pronunciation diagrams, as well as a "Record and compare" feature to let you see more easily how your pronunciation compares to that of the native speaker example.

For those interested in checking out the app, a few promo codes are available here: https://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?p=15266465
