Has anyone updated their phone to version 9.1 and seen extra battery life afterwards. Version 9.1 promises an additional one hour of run time.

So far I can't say it's an hour, but it's better than on 9.0.2 or earlier. Half an hour maybe?

But hey, depends on the phone and the user's habits.

Half an hour, huh... That's interesting.
Reason why I ask is because I jailbroke my 6s a week and I'm pretty happy with
it.

I may skip this upgrade until they can jailbreak 9.1

Where are you seeing this? iOS 9 is supposed to have better battery life than iOS 8, but I don't know where it has been stated that iOS 9.1 would have better battery life than iOS 9.0.

The additional one hour battery life was mentioned in one of the articles I've read... I think it was techradar but it could be something else.

I get about 11 hours of usage, and 50-65 hours of standby time on my 6 Plus with iOS 9.1. That is the same amount of time as I had in past iOS versions.

Probably in reference to iOS 9 in general as iOS 9.1 didn't mention anything in particular related to battery life.
