Any idea of what the 1tb models of the 13 Pro will look like in a years time when the newer phones are released? Just picked up a 1tb 13 Pro for £1100 here in the UK.

For some reason, increased storage capacity never seems to add any resale or trade-in value to phones. That never made sense to me, but it has been consistent over the years. Same value no matter the capacity. I would expect the same for the 1TB.

As mentioned normally carrier or stores don't care about storage size for trade in value as I was given the same trade in credit for both of my iPhone XR 64GB and 256GB. But if you are selling peer to peer such as eBay/Swappa or whatever the marketplace site they use in UK then that is where it may fetch a bit higher resale value.

The 13 pro models will be discontinued by Apl when the iPhone 14 comes out next year. Typically the previous generation model if it’s still offered for sale, drops in price USD$100.
But for trade in - the 1TB model will likely be worth the same amount as the 265 GB model.

Strange, all the recycle sites have offered me more for my XS 512gb compared to the smaller capacity models.
