Was given one in good condition.....what's the value if I list it on Craigslist?

TIA!

Where I work, it would be put into the e-Waste bin without a moment's hesitation.

I recently trashed about 40 dual-socket servers from that bygone era. For us, an old system with old (and ready-to-fail) disks has no value.

Hope you find someone who'll pay for your system, though.

I'm still rocking a 1,1 Mac Pro with mostly updated internals, might throw two 3.0ghz quad cores in there eventually.

Since the newest Mac Pro is such a step in an odd direction, I can't image there not being a market for Mac Pros with upgradable GPUs, PCI ports, etc.

Feel free to send me some of your trash Macs though!

Yeah, I have the same 3,1 with the 3.2Ghz, and after upgrading my boot drive to an SSD/Velocity X2 combo, it flies and does everything I need.

Any reason not to list it on eBay? Planning on doing that with the 3,1 I've got. Completed sold listings for me show prices of anywhere from $450-700. Similar prices asked for on Craiglist in DC.

Didn't want to deal with shipping and PayPal/ebay fees. But thanks! You gave me the into I was looking for....not worth more than $700.

I recently sold my Dual 2.8GHz Octo Core 3,1 in the DC Metro Area for $400 cash - 16GB of RAM, original 320GB Hard Drive, original Radeon 2600 XT, and a Velocity Solo x1 included.
