I'm putting something together, unfortunately I can't draw worth a crap. I am decent at editing however.

I'm in need of a vector image of the standard Apple Logo, you know this one :apple:. Anyone have one by any chance, preferably in either .svg or .ai format?

A lot of the system fonts that come with your Mac actually have the Apple symbol as part of their character set – the keystroke is Alt-Shift-K. If you're using Illustrator you can simply type it up and convert to outlines, giving you the vector image you're looking for.

Errr ... type that exact character in Illustrator (it's part of the character set of Apple Chancery for a start) and go Type -> Create Outlines. Job done.

Cheers

I'm doing this in Inkscape, vector graphic open source program for PC. Unfortunately I don't have Illustrator for my Mac.

choose the font "Chicago" from the "Classic Mac OS" fonts

Press SHIFT + ALT/OPTION + K

Instant apple logo.

Blow it up to whatever size you want by choosing a higher point size!
