Perhaps a little at first, but then seems to be fine for a long time. I regularly use sport loops that are years old.
This sounds encouraging. If you are both using it for years and it still closes well then I am sure it would work for me. I am not particularly hard on my things. Really just wondered what would happen from day to day use and opening and closing the band a couple of times a day.I have a black sport loop that I use for running (swapping with a blue) almost daily and it has been with me since Series 2. Still looks almost like new. Your use case is unique of course so no guarantee
I've been going back and forth deciding between a rubber band or a sport loop (yes I know I can get both, but just as a starting point). How does the velcro hold up on the sport loops? Does it lose its "stickiness" over time?
With a jet black S10? Any pics? 😀I can't speak to the longevity of the sports band but I did recently go with the "ink black" sports band when upgrading to the S10 and absolutely love it.
By far the most comfortable band that I have personally worn for an Apple Watch.

I wear a Nike Sport band (with the holes in it) daily, but I also have two sport loops. If you're looking to start with one band, I'd go with the sport loop. It is super comfortable. I use mine sometimes when I run. Haven't used it nearly as much as some of the others on here, but it looks brand new & velcro is still great after many runs.I think I'm being persuaded to give the sport loop a shot
I have a Nike Sport band I used with my Series 5 that is now being replaced. I am giving the 5 to my mother-in-law, so I guess she is getting the band also. I liked it a lot but I prefer them plain (without the speckles). I think maybe I am going to buy one again off of Ebay and get a sport loop with the watch. Or maybe I'll get a sport loop and the plain black band. I like several of the bands, but I don't like Apple's prices for them.I wear a Nike Sport band (with the holes in it) daily, but I also have two sport loops. how long does it take to dry when it gets wet? I've been thinking about trying the sport loop, but I hesitate because I always get my band wet when washing hands / doing dishes. The only disadvantage is that it takes longer to dry when you get it wet, since it's fabric rather than rubber.
If I get it wet I usually just blot it dry with a towel and put it right back on, but it'll be slightly damp-ish for, I don't know, maybe an hour or so. Less that that if I'm outdoors in the heat.how long does it take to dry when it gets wet? Agree, mine are the older plain bands, not a fan of the speckled ones either.I have a Nike Sport band I used with my Series 5 that is now being replaced. The sport loops don’t seem to hold water when wet. I regularly get mine wet in various activities and really don’t notice it.how long does it take to dry when it gets wet?
