So it was recently announced that L.A. Noire will be released for Windows in the Fall. This is the game that is selling, and is expected to sell, 40% less than Red Dead Redemption, a game that was released a year earlier almost to the day. A Windows version of Red Dead Redemption, however, is still not even being considered as far as the public knows.

So, why would you make a Windows version of your less popular game and ignore the other? Curse you Rockstar!

It's not necessarily Rockstar's fault. Microsoft and Sony might have paid Rockstar not to do a PC version to boost sales of their consoles. They do this all the time, especially for each other (e.g. CoD DLCs).

You can "lulwut" all you want Mr. Scholar. LA Noire was developed by Team Bondi and not Rockstar, as some people believe.

It's a shame it isn't coming to PC. I was interested by RDR and its zombie expansion pack, but I don't really like playing games on my Xbox (not a fan of the noise the system makes, the low resolution, paying to play online etc) so unfortunately I'll be missing out on that particular game. LA Noire on the other hand, yup! Definite buy.

Sort of like what they did with Halo.

Wouldn't surprise me. Still not really happy with Microsoft for buying out Apple's #1 game designer, then cutting all Mac-platform releases loose. Even Halo was a port, and years later than the original game.
