After you burn a CD or a DVD whats the point of Verifying the CD??? When I burn stuff on the pc it doesn't have to verify...what's it for?
 
Making sure there are no burn errors. I suppose it's not necessary and you can cancel if you want, but it does give you extra piece of mind.
 
its just to verify that things burned ok. Better to find out now when you can re-burn than later. I usualy don't verify unless I've got time to kill.
 
i only allow it to verify if it's a cd that i'm burning for someone that is full of photos or other important things. that way i know i can give it to them without having them complain that it's broken.
