Verification Code ????

Not signed into the App Store for ages on my Mac now when I sign in after entering my mail address and password it is asking for a verification code as used on other devices to entered ???

1. I use no other Apple devices.
2. I see no area in the App Store login window to enter a code.

So how do I get this code and where do I enter it ?

OK thanks, I have gone for a complete account recovery that way I just start over.
