I have a Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2019 (iMac19,1) with 2x16GB DDR42667 MHz (Micron 16ATF2G64HZ-2G6E3) and am looking to increase the machine's memory to 64GB.

Is there any reason the below OWC memory would not work acceptably well with the original memory? Note, one clock speed is 2667 MHz and one is 2666 MHz.

OWC 2 x 16GB PC21300 DDR4 2666MHz SO-DIMMs for Mac mini (2018), iMac (2017 - 2020), and compatible PCs
Mfr P/N: 2666DDR4S32P OWC SKU: OWC2666DDR4S32P

Original memory is in slots 1 & 3. At install time, I think I'm reading the install of 2 different mfg's (Micron and OWC) of memory should be like this: one mfg in 1,3 and the other in 2,4.

Can someone confirm that's right?

Thanks for the help!

That's right. Apple Support page is https://support.apple.com/en-us/108317

I think that is just a matter of rounding up or down. It will be fine.

My 2019 iMac has OWC RAM. 2x16 and 2x32.
