Hi All,
I am getting what seems to be the dreaded "Your mobile device has encountered an unexpected error (0xE800003A) during the install phase: Verifying application"
In the Organizer application, for the connected Iphone there is a "Console" tab that shows this information after trying to upload the application.
Fri Sep 19 20:45:01 unknown afcd268 <Error>: user mobile has uid 501
Fri Sep 19 20:45:01 unknown afcd268 <Error>: mode is 0x41e8
Fri Sep 19 20:45:02 unknown mobile_installation_proxy270 <Error>: install_embedded_profile: Skipping the installation of the embedded profile
Fri Sep 19 20:45:02 unknown securityd262 <Error>: mobile_installat270 SecItemCopyMatching: missing entitlement
Fri Sep 19 20:45:03 unknown securityd262 <Error>: mobile_installat270 SecItemCopyMatching: missing entitlement
Fri Sep 19 20:45:03 unknown mobile_installation_proxy270 <Error>: entitlement 'get-task-allow' has value not permitted by a provisioning profile
Fri Sep 19 20:45:03 unknown mobile_installation_proxy270 <Error>: entitlement 'application-identifier' has value not permitted by a provisioning profile
Fri Sep 19 20:45:03 unknown mobile_installation_proxy270 <Error>: verify_executable: Could not validate signature: e8008016
Fri Sep 19 20:45:03 unknown mobile_installation_proxy270 <Error>: preflight_application_install: Could not verify /var/tmp/install_staging.AaKxw3/Medical_History.app/Medical_History
Fri Sep 19 20:45:03 unknown mobile_installation_proxy270 <Error>: install_application: Could not preflight application install
Fri Sep 19 20:45:03 unknown mobile_installation_proxy270 <Error>: handle_install: Installation failed
Does anyone have any insights into this? I believe I've followed all of the steps from the Program Portal correctly, but apparently not.
One point of note, I found one tiny snippet from the Program Portal that talks about HAVING to have an application icon. I don't think I've done anything for the application icon, running the application on the Simulator just shows a white square for the icon.
Thanks in advance,
Phillip
