We just switched from AT&T to Verizon, upgraded our phones and went on the Beyond Unlimited plan. We were already Apple Music subscribers on a family share plan. Before I call Apple and ask how to do this I figured I would ask the MacRumors community if anyone has switched from the paid Apple Music family subscription to the Verizon plan? The Verizon plan looks to be individual Apple Music plans on each phone and we have a family sharing iCloud and Apple Music plan. Thanks for any help in advance.

How did this work for you? Are you all able to have multiple streams from Apple TV or HomePod at home? Was wondering how it affects someone going from an apple family plan to all individual Apple Music accounts with Verizon including it for “free”.

We were told by the Verizon store manager to not use the Apple Music that comes bundled with the unlimited plan and to continue to use our family plan that we were paying directly to Apple. She said that she tried to switch and she and her spouse lost purchases made with their Apple ID in the switch. She told us that it wasn’t worth it in her opinion. My wife and I just stayed with our family plan.
