I love the iPhone but I feel positive (especially with the new iDont ads) that it will never come to my network. So I'm hoping someone out there can help me find the next best thing. I know which phones LOOK cool to me, but as we all know, software makes or breaks a phone

Do Android phones or the Palm Pre even come close to offering a similar mini-computer feel that my ipod touch gives me? I don't know too much about Android but I like how the Pre syncs with iTunes. I'm sort of interested in Blackberrys if they are the best phones I can get. I have a dumbphone that I have been able to upgrade but haven't felt the need to since the phones that are out for Verizon right now don't excite me one bit.

Honestly, getting a Palm Pre for iTunes syncing ain't going to be worth it. Apple already won the iTunes debate and they can legally lock out the Pre... so if you want iTunes integration, then an iPod or iPhone is way to go... Palm will just get squashed with respect to iTunes syncing....

I have a few months until Verizon gets the Pre to see where the iTune integration is going. I use a dumbphone for calls and my ipod touch for music when i'm on the move, so as far as simplifying the number of gadgets i have to have to on me, the Pre seems logical. I hate that Verizon won't be getting the iPhone anytime soon because buying any other phone seems like a loss to me.

I've been wondering about this as well, I'm going to be stuck on verizon for a few more years due to family plan, so what's probably the best verizon phone coming out as there are no good ones out right now, in particular I want it to have a good browser, wifi-connectivity, and tethering among other things lol.
